BHPE (Athletic Therapy)
Level 3 Fascia Stretch Therapy™ Practitioner
Carla is a Rehabilitation Specialist with a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education in Athletic Therapy and advanced certification as a Level 3 Fascia Stretch Therapy™ Practitioner. With a background spanning rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and movement-based therapy, she brings a whole-body approach to helping people move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love.
Her approach goes beyond simply treating where it hurts. Carla looks at how the body moves as a whole, identifying restrictions, compensations, strength deficits, and movement patterns that may be contributing to pain or limiting performance.
She works with active adults and athletes experiencing persistent or recurring pain, sports and overuse injuries, sciatica and sciatic-type pain, plantar fasciitis, low back and hip pain, shoulder and neck concerns, restricted mobility, and difficulty returning to activity after injury.
Treatment may combine movement assessment, Fascia Stretch Therapy™, rehabilitation and corrective exercise, mobility work, and functional strength training. Carla’s background allows her to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance, helping clients not only recover but also build the strength, movement quality, and confidence needed to stay active long-term.
Whether the goal is getting back to mountain biking, skiing, golf, hockey, running, strength training, keeping up with family, or simply moving through everyday life without restriction, Carla believes success isn’t just how you feel on the treatment table. It’s how you move in your life.
